Ara Chackerian is an entrepreneur, angel investor and dedicated philanthropist. As Managing Director of ASC Capital Holdings, LLC, Ara invests in early stage healthcare companies that are committed to reinventing the US Healthcare system.
Ara has more than two decades of experience in building healthcare companies. Ara has co-founded multiple companies including BMC Diagnostics, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, PipelineRx, a national provider of Telepharmacy services and TMS Health Solutions, a California based integrated behavioral health services provider.
Ara’s executive level operating experience includes Chief Executive Officer of BMC Diagnostics, Executive Chairman of PipelineRx and TMS Health Solutions as well as Executive Vice President at PSS/World Medical, an international medical products distributor.
The Chackerian’s have a deep commitment to giving back. Over the last decade, they have founded and supported multiple non-profits focused on youth development and education. They currently have efforts in Armenia, Nicaragua and the United States.
Ara graduated from Florida State University with B.S. in marketing.
